We have excellent classes and teachers for all ages. Our children classes start at ages 18 months and up. Spring is in the air and we’re ready!
Adult Sunday Morning Class
A Survey of the Book of Revelations – Ben Roberts, Teacher
God is in Control. The forces of evil verses the forces of good. The church government verses the state government. These are just a few of the themes that will be covered and discussed during the class this morning. This series will be a study coming directly from the book of Revelations. Although Revelations is a very highly symbolic, Brother Roberts will cover this book in thirteen lessons looking more at the major themes that existed then and still now to Christians living in world with all types of evil systems at work against us. A very practical application and encouragement for Christians today to continue to commit to serving and trusting in God will challenge you to greater faith in The One who created us. Don’t miss it!
Adult Sunday Evening Class
They Asked for It – Terry Reynolds, Teacher
There will be a total of six classes on Sunday evenings this quarter due to the song practice we will continue to have on the 2nd and 3rd Sunday of each month. The Sunday evening class will meet on the 1st and 4th Sunday of each month. The six classes will focus on the various kings of
New Members Class
Foundations – Jeff Powell
Brother Powell continues in this series in dealing with everyday Christian living topics and basic foundational topics to “ground” members. This small group class allows for small, intimate interactions between the students and teacher. There is a workbook for each student which allows preparing and studying prior to each class.
Adult Wednesday Morning Class
Things That Accompany Salvation - Doug Hall
This will be a workbook series that will deal with different “faith-building” topics around our salvation. The focus of the series is to challenge each of us to continue to grow and build upon our faith and knowledge of the doctrine of Christ.
Adult Wednesday Evening Class
Boundaries – Dewayne Scott, Teacher
Brother Dewayne Scott will lead the Wednesday evening class this spring quarter from the topic of Boundaries. It will be a biblical perspective of the topic. Some of the questions to be addressed in this quarter will be…. Can I set limits and still be a loving person? What are legitimate boundaries? What is someone is upset or hurt by my boundaries? How do I answer someone who wants my time, love, energy, or money? What do I feel guilty or afraid when I consider setting boundaries? How do boundaries relate to submission? Aren’t boundaries selfish? Our goal is to help you use biblical boundaries appropriately to achieve the relationships and purposes that God intends for you as His child. Don’t miss it!
Sunday Morning Curriculum – Ages 18 months – 18 years
New Life through His Word Series which is produced by 21st Century Christian is the curriculum that will be used by all ages for Sunday morning and for Sunday evenings. Each age group will be covering the same basic topic and theme for the quarter but at their appropriate age level.
Each week this series offers a great combination of biblical teaching, interactive discussion, and practical application.
Wednesday Night
One of Christ’ most powerful ways of teaching was to utilize parables (things familiar with) and apply spiritual applications. Each appropriate age group will utilize hands-on object lessons this quarter and after each object lesson (science project) time will be spent discussing how our Creator is connected to all the wonderful ways our world functions and exist.
