Marriage Ministry
The purpose of our MARRIAGE Ministry is to strengthen the marriages of our membership and to provide positive fellowship opportunities for couples to come together and deal with relevant issues facing the family today. Through a structured marriage ministry the leadership can insure that the ongoing needs for the marriages of the membership are identified and resources are put in place to address these specific needs. We believe preventative efforts are always better than corrective efforts in any area including our marriages.
Just a few of the areas that our marriage ministry serves are members and non-members who are:
- Monthly fellowship gatherings in the homes of rotating couples to discuss relevant topics
- Ongoing social activities for the purpose of positive, fun experiences
- Marriage workshops, usually conducted on Saturdays (twice per year)
- Marriage retreat, our main annual event that gives couples the opportunity to have good information shared and discussed while combining a relaxed and fun atmosphere away from the busy schedules of home for a weekend
